Following is a guest post from Erin Chase, a local blogger (Dayton), cookbook author and good friend of FFC’s co-founders Shannan, Amy & Susan.  Erin is a master at making quality meals for her family for just $5!

For a year and a half, I’ve been laboring with love, sharing my $5 dinners with the interwebz!  The website morphed itself into a cookbook…amazing how a website can do that all by itself! ;)   Really, I’m thrilled to get to share with others the ideas and concepts that make $5 Dinners work for our family. The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook was written to not only share great recipes, but also to help others learn practical steps to reducing their grocery bill.  The cookbook includes tips and tricks for grocery shopping, using coupons, and meal planning.  Using these three strategies together can help significantly reduce your monthly grocery bill!

If you’re looking for ways to reduce your grocery bill, while still feeding healthy meals to your family, then this book is for you!  And I’d love to encourage and inspire you and answer your questions in person!

I’ll be speaking, answering questions and signing cookbooks at the Joseph-Beth Bookstore, 2692 Madison Rd, on Tuesday, February 2nd, from 7-9 pm!

Erin Chase is the author of The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook and founder of $5 Dinners.com.  She lives with her husband and 3 little men in Dayton, OH.
