Happy Friday everyone!

We couldn’t let a little “blog redevelopment” dust keep us away! Here are a few activities taking place around the Tri-State we thought you might enjoy.  If you have something planned this weekend that you think FFC readers might want to know about it, feel free to leave the details in in the comments.

Hearts for Haiti… A Second Hand Boutique -Located at Notre Dame Academy in the gym is a treasure chest full of everything from toys to home furnishings (nice stuff).  There are many fantastic items in the silent auction.  The kids will enjoy making valentines, crafts and jumping in the bounce house.  The bake sale is an amazing assortment of sweet stuff to satisfy your cravings.  All proceeds will benefit Haiti Relief efforts.  The sale is from 8am-5pm Saturday, Sunday 11am-4pm (silent auction ends Sunday at 2:30pm) and Monday 9a-1p.

Cincinnati Cyclones, Kids Jersey T-Shirt Night – Watch the Cyclones take on the Johnstown Chiefs on this Saturday at U.S. Bank Arena. Game starts at 7:30 p.m. First 2,500 Kids ages 2-12 get a free Kids Jersey T-Shirt!

Anderson Township Park District hosts a Daddy Daughter Dances at NKU!  This Friday (6:30-8:30pm) and Saturday (6:30-8:30pm) Dad’s and their daughters can dance the night away in the NKU Student Union Ballroom. A professional photographer will be taking complimentary father/daughter photos.  Cost is $30 per “couple”; $10 each additional daughter. Promont House Museum Tours. Tours are available this weekend from 1:30 – 4:30pm of Milford’s Promont House Museum. The former home of Ohio Gov. John Pattison is decorated in Victorian style. Costume Gallery Costume Sale! What child doesn’t love to play dress up?  This weekend the Costume Gallery on Monmouth Street in Newport (KY) is clearing out their inventory (to our benefit!). Sharonville Library Hosts Friends’ Used Book Sale – Come peruse a wide selection of gently used books, videos and tapes at the Sharonville Library (Thornview Dr). Proceeds go to library programs! Sale hours are Friday 12pm-6pm and Saturday 10am – 5pm. Call (513) 369-6049 for more information.
