Local Students Having Fun Under The Big Top
I’ve previously posted about “Circus Time Fun in Greater Cincinnati” , but I wanted to let all our FFC readers know about Circus Mojo’s Spring Circus that will be held at the Madisonville Arts Center on May 15 from 1-3pm. Circus Mojo and founding Clown, Paul Miller (a.k.a Pauly the Clown) has worked with students in local schools and they will be performing many of their “circus tricks” – juggling, balancing, plate-spinning, stilt-walking and comedy routines. Sounds like fun to me!
You’ll see kids from many neighboring schools and they range in age from 5-18 years. Having a good turn out for the event will mean a lot to these young circus performers. Some of the schools that have students performing are:
Caywood YMCA of Greater Cincinnati
Children’s Home of Northern KY
Cincinnati Country Day School
Clifton Cultural Arts Center
Covington Catholic High School
Ft. Wright Elementary with Children Inc.
John P. Parker School
Licking Valley Girl Scouts
Ludlow Elementary & Alternative High School
Madisonville Arts Center
New School Montessori
Seven Hills School
The suggested donation for this fun family-friendly event is only $5 and the donation will help benefit the Madisonville Arts Center. I hope you’ll be able to attend, but if you miss this event, you’ll definitely want to see Pauly the Clown and Circus Mojo at some of their upcoming events. I’m excited because they’ll be performing in my hometown, Mason, on July 3 for Red, Rhythm & Boom. Circus Mojo also has some fabulous summer camps and they also offer classes and workshops throughout the year.
