Want to help kids in need have a great start to the new school year? You can help by stopping by your local Remke bigg’s and participating in their Backpack Challenge.
In partnership with Fox19, Q102 and Time Warner Cable fourteen Remke bigg’s locations are collecting school supplies for well deserving students in the Tri-State. Customers can make a donation at any of the Remke bigg’s locations now through August 15, 2010. The goal is to fill 1,500 backpacks with school supplies.
Easy right?
In addition to the main collection, Remke bigg’s will be hosting special Backpack Challenge collection events in conjunction with Fox19 and Q102:

We all remember how nervous we were as kids for the first day of school and more than likely we didn’t have to worry about school supplies. This sounds like an easy way to really help a child have a great start to the school year.
