This summer my family travelled to Western Kentucky and vacationed at the Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park. We had such a fabulous time that I wanted to share some of that fun with our readers! We haven’t seen too terribly many of our state parks yet but I always grew up visiting Cumberland Falls and the parks in the area. With my husband’s family we’ve explored General Butler state park and it’s lovely too! Thanks for the chance to win!

So far, my favorite State Park is Cave Run State Park in Kentucky. The lake is one of the largest I’ve ever seen!
Leelanau State Park: Absolutely beautiful, near Traverse City in Michigan on Grand Traverse Bay. Tons of hiking and wildlife-one of the most scenic and beautiful places I have ever been.
I love Cumberland State Park in Kentucky. If you get a chance – go catch a ‘moonbow!’
