FFC Behind the Scenes –> Meet Karen!

September 26, 2011 By FFCStaff

In the coming months we would like to take you behind the scenes at Family Friendly Cincinnati and introduce you to the fabulous ladies who write for this blog.  Over the years we have all shared with you some of our favorite things to do and see around town.  Now we want to take a moment with a little Q&A to let you get to know us each a little more!

The faces behind Family Friendly Cincinnati:  Karen E.

My Family: I affectionately have given my kids internet nicknames. My daughter, Attie, is 9 and in 4th Grade while my son, Bubba, is 6 and in 1st Grade.

Started writing for Family Friendly Cincinnati: October 2009 – Wow just coming up on my 2 year Anniversary!

About Me: I’m a work from home mom – I’m an on-line Community Manager (think Social Media) and a Power Seller on Ebay.
I’ve been married to Patrick for 21 years. We were married in England (where Patrick is from) and spent our first year of marriage there. We’ve been stateside in/around Cincinnati for the past 20 years currently residing in my hometown of Blue Ash.
Both Patrick and I are avid listeners and followers of Dave Ramsey and it has changed our lives for the better a thousand fold.
You will find us outside on every given day if at all possible – we take the one hour of active outdoor play seriously and try to have as much fun with it as we can. Jumping in puddles and throwing snowballs is just as fun as riding our bikes or running our toes through the grass.
I love to bake and to cook, but I’m not necessarily good at either – it all depends on the day.
My passion is to help others. If there’s anything I can do to help you, please let me know.

Where you can find me on the web: Little World Afterall

Our family’s favorite restaurant: Mekong Thai Restaurant in Kenwood (sorry no website just amazing food!)

Our family’s favorite local hangout: Castle Skateland in Loveland or in the summer Kings Island

This organization is important to our family: SonRise Church

How I spend my “Mama” time (when I can find the time): Hanging out with my friends just talking and laughing.

Favorite place to shop with (or for) the kids: Hanna Andersson  for my daughter and Mini Boden  for my son

When I’m not blogging you’ll find me: Sitting in front of my computer researching something!

A local non-profit that is close to my heart: Kids Against Hunger

My favorite blogs to read: FFC (of course!), Money Saving Mom, Bakerella, & DaddyScratches

Filed Under: General Tagged With: Bakerella, Castel Skateland, Daddy Scratches, Family Friendly Cincinnati Contributors, Hanna Anderson, Kids Against Hunger, Kings Island Cincinnati, Little World Afterall, Mini Boden, Money Saving Mom, slideshow, SonRise Church

This recalls the president of the ISU for corruption and
mishandling of the judging system. Also take into consideration,
the additional time until t is ready for the market.
But this does not automatically mean that higher
cost will translate to more appreciation from your intended recipients.
