As I posted about earlier this week – Holiday Follies opens tonight and has performances all this weekend and next. It really is one of the best things about Cincinnati and not to be missed! Get your tickets early!
The City of Independence’s Christmas Walk is Saturday from 6pm to 9pm. Maybe you know someone who needs a jump start of holiday cheer, maybe you do. Sara shared a lovely post about how uplifting this walk was for her last year and it might be just the ticket for your family.
You will need to head Downtown for multiple trips to squeeze in all they have to offer over the season. Trust me – we went down three weekends last year and I still feel like I missed stuff! On Saturday at 4pm, the Cincinnati Boychoir will perform their holiday program – Holiday Sing! – at the Mason United Methodist Church.
The second annual Oakley Holiday Celebration happens Saturday starting at noon – thanks to Molly Behrens for the heads up on this fun! The Craft Supermarket in Oakley is doing a Holiday Craft Show as part of this celebration.
O’Henry’s The Gift of the Magi is one of my favorite Christmas tales and you can see it performed on Saturday at the Taft Museum. Only $5 and members are free! Performance begins at 11:30am – Info and tickets: 513-684-4516 or www.taftmuseum.org.
