On April 6-7, The Dragonfly Foundation is hosting a whole lot of fun and you’re invited. It’s their second annual Touch-a-Truck event. There will be lots of big trucks to see and the kids can even hop aboard a bright red tractor. There will be additional activities planned for a small fee (bounce house provided by Cincinnati Circus, face painting, temporary tattoo fun and more) and there will be food (Jett’s Pizza), and cool drinks for sale. One of our favorite mobile ice cream parlors will be there too so make sure you stop by and say hi to our friends from Wiggy Dip. The folks from Pete DeLois’ Recreations Outlet will have playsets and basketball nets ready to use. The event is being held at the West Chester Lawn & Garden Center.
The Dragonfly Foundation is a wonderful local non-profit organization to support. They “bring comfort and joy to kids and young adults with cancer and blood diseases”. I have seen them bring smiles to kids and knowing that they are a beacon of light during trying medical times is such a blessing. I hope you’ll get a chance to stop by, have fun and support The Dragonfly Foundation. You can also follow them on Facebook.
