Shop Local Cincinnati :: Fawn Candy

Are you making your list and checking it twice?  Are there any folks with a sweet tooth on your list?  Then I know just where you need to go to get them the ideal gift…Fawn Candy.  Fawn Candy is the perfect place in Cincinnati to find candies, chocolates and nuts for gift-giving or for yourself!

Fawn Candy is a family-run business that has been a Cincinnati treasure since the 1940’s.  While the store does sell brand name candies such as Jelly Bellies, they make the majority of their sweets by hand in their candy kitchen with high quality ingredients.  I could make an endless list of all the sweets and treats you can find at Fawn Candy, but I just can’t type it all..so I’ll give you the annotated version (ie: the things that caught my eye!).  They have Fudge, Peanut Butter Buckeyes, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Peppermint Bark, Bourbon Balls, Nonpareils, Chocolate Covered Oreos, Brittle, Nut Clusters and the list goes on and on.  They also have gourmet popcorn (several flavors to choose from), Sugar Free Candies, Kid’s favorite candies like Ring Pops & Pop Rocks, and other tasty items.  Something for every sweet craving!

What I love about Fawn Candy this time of year is that I can go in and they will put together candy boxes or candy tins filled with exactly what I want in them.  I can make my own assortment of chocolates, or perhaps a tin of nuts & candy, whatever the person on my list prefers.  Or if you are overwhelmed by all the choices, they also offer gift certificates (stocking stuffer!).  They also have some pretty little packages of sweets already made up so you can grab and go.  I bought several small bags of chocolate covered pretzels to pair up with gift cards, because I don’t like to just hand out gift cards for Christmas.

Fawn Candy isn’t just for the holidays though.  Do you need candy to serve at a birthday party?  Or perhaps you want to give candy favors at a wedding?   Or maybe it’s great aunt Edna’s birthday and you don’t know what to give the woman who has everything?  Fawn Candy really does have something for everyone.  They have two locations in Cincinnati, and the people that work there are so sweet and helpful.  I always feel like they want me to leave with the perfect collection of sweets.

Fawn Candy has two locations:   4271 Harrison Avenue,Cincinnati, OH 45211  (513-574-9612) AND  2692 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45208  (513-351-4191).  For more information such as hours, directions, and candy selection, visit the Fawn Candy website or Fawn Candy Facebook Page.
