Bonnybrook Farms Chuck Wagon Dinner Ride {Giveaway}

It’s summer, which can only mean one thing: time to enjoy the great outdoors with a delicious dinner on the farm! At Bonnybrook Farms in Clarksville, Ohio, you get more than just a hearty dinner; you and your family can have a whole evening of fun when you participate in their Chuck Wagon Dinner Rides.

The fun begins at 5:00pm with a variety of Fun on the Farm activities to help you to work up an appetite before dinner. From Clodhopper Golf and Giant Slingshots, to Horseshoe Hill’s 80 ft underground slide, to the friendly farm animals you can pet and feed, there’s something for all ages and activity levels. Bring you own fishing pole and bait, and you can even utilize their Catch and Release pond. If taking in the lazy days of summer is more your speed, you can just relax on the back porch and enjoy the country.

At 6:30pm, the dinner bell rings, and it’s time to dig in! You can choose from homemade hickory smoked pulled pork and chicken and Nathan’s hot dogs, or forego choosing and go with all three! There is a great selection of farm-fresh sides and salads made from locally grown produce to complete your meal. Wash it all down with ice-cold lemonade and iced tea, or feel free to BYOB.

You’ll probably be sufficiently stuffed by this point, but the fun isn’t over yet! At 7:30pm, board the wagon for a scenic ride down the abandoned wagon road to Todd Fork Creek. Hopefully you’ll be ready for dessert at this point. You and your family can enjoy fresh-baked homemade cobblers and cookies, tin cup coffee and soft drinks at the Old Chuck Wagon. Of course, no evening in the country would be complete without s’mores, so bring out the child in you by gathering around the campfire to roast the summer favorite!
