Are YOU the Smartest Person in Kenton County? Giveaway

Everyone wants to think that they are pretty intelligent, sharp-witted, and quick with an answer.  One local school hopes to put area residents to the test with their upcoming fundraiser- The Smartest Person in Kenton County!

‘The Smartest Person in Kenton County’ is an upcoming new event that aims to be a night of food, music, fun…and of course, friendly competition!  Here’s a little about the event:

Ft. Wright Elementary PTA is excited to be hosting the 1st Annual ‘Smartest Person in Kenton County’ contest at the Gardens of Park Hills on July 17, 2014 from 6 pm until 11 pm. This fun adults-only evening allows contestants the chance to test their wits against their fellow players, or simply be a spectator and cheer on your favorite contestant. All proceeds from this event directly benefit Ft. Wright Elementary students by helping to provide resources to increase student achievement.

Think “Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader” meets Trivial Pursuit!  Contestants compete against their fellow players round-robin style until there’s only one man or woman standing!  That individual gets to claim the title “Smartest Person in Kenton County” and will receive a t-shirt to prove it!  Not up to competing?  Then come be a spectator!  Audience members (as well as contestants) will be treated to dinner-by-the-bite, a host bar, and great music while watching their friends and family vie for the title of Smartest Person.

Contestants can ask friends, family members, and coworkers to sponsor them for this event and they can earn Free Answer Cards that can be used in any round with exception of the final 3 rounds of play. For every $25 they raise they will receive (1) card.

You are not required to be a resident of Kenton County to compete or attend.  This contest is open to ALL area residents and is an adults only event. Contestant Admission is $40, Audience Admission is $25. Price includes all-you-can-eat dinner by the bite as well as beverages. Host Bar provided. All contestants, including winner, will leave with a contest t-shirt.
