If you want a delicious pizza pie you need to make your way to Mac’s Pizza Pub and give them a try. Mac’s Pizza Pub has four locations around Greater Cincinnati, and we recently visited their newest location in the MainStrasse Village.
Mac’s Pizza Pub ~
Mac’s is known for using fresh ingredients and making their dishes from scratch. They are also known for their craft beer selection. I think they should also be known for having the most amazing tater tots I’ve ever eaten. The “Tasty Tot’s” at Mac’s Pizza Pub are made with perfectly crispy tots covered with just the right amount of cheese bacon and ranch. They are scrumptious! And this is coming from someone who usually isn’t a huge fan of tater tots.
I could keep going on and on about these Tasty Tots, but the reality is everything we tried at Mac’s was awesome. They make their dough in house, grate their own cheese to create the perfect blends for the pizzas, mix their own sauces, and BEST of all…they try to use locally sourced, fresh ingredients whenever they can. Three cheers for supporting local producers! After we finished our tots we tried a few fun pizzas for dinner. I had the Chicago Gyro pizza and Michael had the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. As usual, Henry had a Meatball Pizza. I tasted all three pizzas and thought they were all great. The prices for the pizzas were very reasonable too, and the pizzas are very filling, so you might even leave with a slice or two for lunch the next day. Take your friends or family and get several small pizzas to share so you can taste a little bit of different pizzas, because they offer so many different unique toppings that it’s hard to decide which to order.

Mac’s Pizza Pub (despite their name) isn’t all about the pizza…they have many other menu options as well to choose from. My brother tried the wings (wings sauces made in house) when we went, but I was so busy trying the pizzas that I never stole one of his wings to try. I heard they were good though. Mac’s Pizza Pub also offers burgers, calzones, sandwiches, salads, appetizers and they even offer some Vegan options on the menu. There’s something on their menu for everyone, no matter what you are in the mood for.
I feel like Mac’s Pizza Pub is going to turn out to be one of our regular hangouts from here on out. The food is delicious, and they have different specials each day as well as many fun events going on at their different locations. I should also mention that the service at Mac’s Pizza Pub was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and our server was the bomb. She was quick to get whatever we needed and very helpful when we were trying to decide what to order. Their MainStrasse location is a huge restaurant full of some very interesting architecture and design. We sat in the atrium area near the bar and it was almost as if we were dining outside (especially when the rain starting pounding on the roof). Mac’s has a really fun, laid-back atmosphere which is perfect for my family of six.
