A little person’s dream, at Otterville you’ll find activities for children of all ages. While there’s a ton for kids to do – (honestly you could fill 3+ hours), the boy’s favorites include the large “fun house” style ball pit and the outdoor playground area. In addition to these two areas you’ll find a puppet theatre, a face painting station, a Thomas the Tank Engine Train area, a Supermarket and much more. For parents with smaller children, there is a soft “area” restricted for the tiny tots with age appropriate toys and “climbing” stations.
When the weather cooperates, outside, children can play with Otterville’s real squirting fire truck while pretending to be fire fighters or play with dump trucks in the sand area and pretend to be construction workers. Otterville has a bridge covered fishing pond where kids can fish with magnetic fishing poles (My boys could “fish” here all day). There is also a play ground and a conductor that can take the kids on a REAL train ride!
Regular cost to take your children to Otterville is $7.95 per child (Only $3 with today’s Groupon!), with adults and children under 9 months, FREE. You can stay as long as you like and they have a concession area for food and snacks throughout your visit.
