Calling all parents of Teens, here’s a great opportunity, but you’ll need to act fast!
The Cincinnati Art Museum has teamed up with Define My Style, an online community of over 50,000 teen members, for their first design contest. Students from high schools in the surrounding area are now utilizing DefineMyStyle.com, and are invited to submit virtual design sketches for laptop sleeves (or tablets) that best reflect their personal style – or that of their school. The competition is open to ALL STUDENTS in the region and runs through THURSDAY, February 16th at 11:59pm. (Deadline extended!)
Once the designs have been submitted, students will then compete to earn the highest number of “Facebook Likes” on their design. The contest’s Top 10 Designs will be reviewed by New York Fashion Stylist, Dawn DelRusso, and each will be put into production for the finalists to flaunt their achievements. In addition, the number one voted Laptop Sleeve design will be sold in the Cincinnati Art Museum Gift Shop (all proceeds benefiting the Art Museum). The top designer will also earn a $50 Define My Style gift card and have their design showcased on DefineMyStyle.com.
The design competition will conclude at a Studio Night: Express It on February 24, 2012 from 6-9PM and the public is invited. For further information about Define My Style and Cincinnati Art Museum Design competition visit: http://www.definemystyle.com/express_it
