One of the things I love best about writing at Family Friendly Cincinnati is that I discover so many new places and things just by reading the posts that my co-writers share here on the site just like you do. Over the past three years I’ve learned about ice cream shops that I today find myself not being able to live without, roller rinks, local book stores and even cool local sewing shops (even though I don’t sew…). All of these places I might not otherwise ever encountered had one of my fellow writers not shared about them here on FFC.
Among the line up places I might not have discovered, is Brazee Street Studios in Oakley. It was my colleague Katie who wrote about Brazee and it’s School of Glass last July after taking her kids there for one of the Family Open House sessions. A few months later I would have a chance to visit Brazee myself, when FFC hosted it’s writer holiday party there and made glass picture frames.
Later I would return with my boys to make glass ornaments, and ever since it’s been one of our favorite places to go. So why do I bring this up? Because Brazee Street Studios has great classes and right now they are offering a variety of really fun Summer Camps and I wanted to share them with you all.
This summer, in addition to all of it’s regular class offerings, Brazee Street Studio’s School of Glass will host a variety of classes during it’s Summer Camp for kids of all ages. Here’s a rundown on the classes:
