Calling All Princesses: BB Riverboats Princess Cruise GIVEAWAY

I have a princess on my hands.  She changes her clothes 3 to 4 times a day, loves to wear tiaras and sparkly necklaces and likes to sneak into my make up bag a little too often.  Or, maybe she is a diva?  Either way, she loved the BB Riverboats Princess Cruise we experienced Saturday.

I made the mistake of telling the little princess about the cruise two days in advance.  I heard 3,285 questions until the boat left the dock.  What princesses will be there?  How big is the boat?  How do we get on the boat?  Will they give us a dress?  What should I wear? Will you please wear high heels and not tennis shoes?  That last request was hard to fill because I’m battling some sore runners feet, but I complied!  How can you argue with a princess?

Finally, the day arrived.  It was pouring rain.  But, BB Riverboats always delivers, rain or shine, even if they have to do the event dockside.  Fortunately, we were able to leave the dock and cruise down  the river.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful Fairy Godmother who lavished loads of attention on each princess and made us feel special to board the boat.  We found our table and set sail.  As we cruised down the Ohio, all of the guest princesses lined the dance floor and the Fairy Godmother announced each BB Riverboat princess as she was escorted across the floor by Prince Charming. We met Belle, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Snow White and Ariel.  Each princess was given a nice 5×7 color photograph of all of the princesses and were able to walk around, meet the BB Riverboat princesses and have the photo autographed.  The Fairy Godmother also gave each princess a special wand.

When we weren’t meeting princesses or getting autographs we danced, learned how to wave and curtsey like a princess and paraded around the boat for other passengers to see our perfected princess wave and smile.  The girls all had a blast.  Who wouldn’t love showing off their princess skills?

During the cruise the staff had a light lunch for sale (grilled cheese, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches) and soft drinks.  Tickets for the cruise are $20 for adults and $16 for children.  There are only two cruises left, August 3rd and August 31st, so hurry and book yours now.  They are selling out fast.  In fact, even though it was on a rainy day, our event was completely sold out.

    Entry 1 my daughters favorite princess is Cinderella because she loves her castle. Mine is Aurora better known as sleeping beauty because it was my favorite love story.

    My favorite Disney princess is Ariel, because we both share the love of red hair, swimming, and a very cute Prince Eric! My six year old daughter, Samantha, however, loves Snow White the best, because of her fair skin, sweet voice, and her affinity for apples. Samantha has a Snow White princess dress that she wears on a regular basis with all the accessories: tiara, heels, wand, jewels, etc. If I were to win the fabulous princess cruise, my guest would without a doubt be my favorite little princess, Samantha.

    I would take my daughter….who states, “there is something wrong with this world because I am suppose to be a princess”. She is the most caring, wonderful, and loving princess there is. She cares for her older brother after his surgeries and I have always felt bad and dont ever want her to feel she comes in second so being able to give my princess a day of her own would be magical

    What a wonderful experince! My princess is a little older than the typical, she’s 16. A beautiful young lady and a true princess to the core! Cinderella is her favorite Disney Princess.     My daughter is 3. She is enamored with the princesses. Oddly Aurora is her favorite. She calls her fave Princess Beauty not Sleeping Beauty. But she saw the movie and was simply more sure that was her favorite. Sadly, when she says she’s being “princess Booty” I end up being Snow Wipe 🙂

    It would have to be the bling….all proper princesses have to have sparkles on their shoes and gloves and tiara and any other place they can find. That is what my daughter says when we pass the play jewels anyway

    It’s hard to say which princess my daughter loves because she changes from Aurora, to Belle, and then will sneak in Snow White before lunch. Meanwhile Arial and Rapunzel fills up the afternoon, and then finally Cinderella is the nightly outfit. I would say Cinderella is her favorite because she always says she is going to the ball when really she is coming to dinner. [email protected]

    I would be taking my granddaughter , she had a seizure on June 3 2013, and was in the hospital for a day for testing, when the test came back it was a tumor and had to go through hours of testing, while in Children’s Hospital her other grandmother had bought her a princess crown, she wore that all through her testing and after she had stayed a week in the hospital after her surgery. While at the hospital we had to go back to one of the offices to pick up some papers, she was still in her room, when they heard her name they asked how Princess Emily was doing and stated that she was a strong little girl for what she had been through and her price is her papaw. She still wears her crown as princess Emily. It’s been about a month since surgery and we are trying to do things with her that is not a contact sport, she can’t play any of her sports this yr or go swimming. This would realy be a neat surprise for her to really be a princess and meet one. She is truly my little gem like the ones in her crown that she wears. Her likes wearing her rings and braclet her papaw bought her that says special princess. We are having a benefit for her for medical & dr bils and further testing. The only thing she was worried about was her long her and them cutting it

    My name is Jennifer and my daughter Scarlet is obsessed with princesses. She wears her princess gowns out and refers to herself as princess Scarlet. She never leaves home without her princess dolls and wand. Scarlet was born almost deaf in both ears and had surgery and implants put in so she could here Tangled was the first thing besides my voice she heard and from then on she was all for princesses. Scarlet is 2 and a half and is the biggest princess fan I know and this cruise would be a dream for her to go on. She would take her meme and mommy with her and when I showed her the pictures and told her about it she has been begging to go. For my little princess this would be a dream come true!!

    My fav. princess has been changed from Cinderella to my 4 year old granddaughter Laney, or should I say Ariel. She is obsessed with Ariel, she wears her Ariel outfit around all day, She loves the singing as she is very much into singing. I would take my little Ariel on the cruise, but I say her fav. accessory would be wings, which doesn’t fit with Ariel, except in her mind. She has her own little prince charming 8 year old cousin Kaden. So he would def. have to come.     I learned about this Princess cruise several weeks ago and was reminded about it again from my mom a week later. We mutually agreed that this would be something that would be perfect for my best friend to take my daughter to. I am a single mom, and my daughter has little contact with her own father. My best friend (who is a male) has stepped up to the plate and played the father role very well over the last 6 years. Every once in awhile, he surprises her with a special date. We have already planned this to be a “surprise family date,” but it would be even better if we got free tickets! I would bring my daughter, my best friend, and my younger sister, as our father is currently deployed. Our favorite princesses are Jasmine, Ariel, and Rapunzel. Our favorite princess accessory is the crown because it reveals their royalty and is sparkly and pretty!
