South-Pacific-Now-Showing 700x200Going to see a movie at the OMNIMAX Theater at the Cincinnati Museum Center is an experience unlike any other movie experience I’ve ever had.  My family loves to go see the bigger than life movies at the OMNIMAX, and we are very excited about the newest film, Journey to the South Pacific.  I think the kids are going to love this!

Meet Jawi, a young boy from West Papua who calls this paradise his home. Join him in our OMNIMAX® Theater as he catches a boat trip through the islands and reefs of the South Pacific to teach other children the importance of protecting the ocean and its creatures. As Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett narrates the story, our five-story domed screen will put you right into the action: You’ll swim with sharks and other marine life, celebrate with local islanders and learn about the science and importance of living in balance with the ocean planet we call home!
An uplifting story of hope and celebration, Journey to the South Pacific highlights the importance of protecting the ocean and its inhabitants—above and below the sea.
 

Hopefully we’ll make our way over there soon, going to the OMNIMAX seems like a perfect cold weather activity!  And then we can spend some time exploring the Museum.  Our Cincinnati Museum Center pass is indispensable, especially during the cold months when we need to get out of the house!     I would like to win these tickets because my son love the museum. He is always asking when we can go back and we have never taken him to the omnimax so it would be a new experience for him at the museum.

    I would love to see this movie with my granddaughter, Audrey. We both love aquatic life and this movie looks fascinating. I have an Ocean theme during the entire month of May in my classroom – maybe I could pick up some new ideas! I love that you have contests for the family!
