Cincinnati Home & Garden Show Returns (Giveaway)

With spring just around the corner (we really hope it gets here soon….) there’s no better time to check out The Cincinnati Home & Garden Show than now.

The region’s largest and longest-running spring showcase returns this weekend (March 1-2) and March next (March 5-9) to the Duke Energy Convention Center and will feature than 400 exhibitors!!

All the inspiration you could ever need for your home, displayed via more than 400 tons of dirt, rock and stone, all being used to create full-scale examples of landscapes and hardscapes, replicating yards with paved walkways, patios, flowers, shrubbery, water features, gazebos, hot tubs, garden walls and more.

On top of the abundance of visuals, hundreds of home and garden service providers and industry experts will be on-site to field questions and help you plan your next project. We’re talking landscapers, interior designers, remodeling specialists, contractors and more all under one roof!. Come with your notes 😉

New items from promotors:  

“New for 2014, the Milky Way Garden with a Star-Powered Home is a unique on-site home that will be built in the garden area of the Show. Created by a partnership of Cincinnati’s top sustainable home construction and environmental landscaping companies, the 98-sq. ft. home will demonstrate the latest innovations in eco-friendly building, energy efficiency and sustainable living. It will feature a mini-split heating and cooling system and on-demand hot water system, solar panels, recycled building materials and non-toxic paints. A veggie garden, chicken coops and garden pathway will complete the must-see project.

The Go Green Cincinnati Show℠ and The Garden Market℠ will once again run in tandem with the Cincinnati Home & Garden Show®.  The Go Green Cincinnati Show℠ returns for its second year at the show, featuring dozens of companies that offer sustainable products and services. The Garden Market℠ will continue to feature a wide variety of specialty retailers and boutiques that will be displaying unique garden accessories, décor, jewelry, gifts and more.

Want to attend the show?  Show dates and times are as follows:

• Saturday, March 1: 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Sunday, March 2: 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Wednesday, March 5: noon – 8 p.m.
• Thursday, March 6: noon – 8 p.m.
• Friday, March 7: noon – 9 p.m.
• Saturday, March 8: 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Sunday, March 9: 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Tickets to the Cincinnati Home & Garden Show include admission to all three shows. Admission for adults is $13. Adults can save $3 on admission by buying a ticket at Cincinnati-area Kroger stores. Children (ages 13 and under) are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
