I love the holidays, I love crafts, I love holiday decorations, I love Christmas cookies, and I love holiday parties. I cannot wait for December to roll around and celebrate the holidays with my family and friends. That being said I am in no way, shape or form ready for the holidays! I have not bought one single gift, I’m not sure where all of our decorations are hidden and I have several parties to plan and host. I need to kick-start my holiday season with a bang, and soon! Thankfully, this weekend is the Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market at the Duke Energy Convention Center. I’m going to go this weekend and get myself in the holiday spirit and geared up for December! I’d love to see you there too. In fact, we have two sets of tickets to give away to the Holiday Market! Two lucky Family Friendly Cincinnati readers will win a family four pack of tickets to attend the show. Not only can you browse gorgeous decorations and holiday gifts, but you could even meet Elsa from Frozen! Read all the details below and then hurry and enter the contest below, it ends on Wednesday evening!
The Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market ::
Shop more than 300 one-of-a-kind boutiques, artisans and specialty stores at the 2014 Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market, presented by the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers, November 14-16 at Duke Energy Convention Center.
The 2014 Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market will feature unparalleled selections of home décor, specialty clothing, personal accoutrements and more. A juried event, the Show selects only the highest quality exhibitors, ensuring that no two products are alike.
In its second year, the Cincy Specialty Food & Treats Show℠ will run in tandem with Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market. Included with paid admission, the Show features more than 75 exhibitors showcasing gourmet food and holiday entertainment and gift ideas. Local chefs and select exhibitors will host free seminars and demonstrations throughout the show. For a full seminar schedule, visit http://cincinnatiholidaymarket.com/show-features/seminars/.
“Holiday Market offers the perfect destination to jump start your holiday gift shopping,” said Vicki Hart, producer of the Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market. “Grab your girlfriends or bring the family to see Frozen’s Elsa. From hundreds of exclusive specialty items, gourmet food and chic boutiques to holiday entertaining demonstrations and delicious treats, Holiday Market will kindle the holiday gift-giving spirt like no other shopping venue can.”
Bring your camera for two special opportunities to capture holiday photos with the family! Live reindeer will be at the show each day in booth #507 and Frozen’s Elsa, sponsored by Sacksteder’s Interiors, will make an appearance on Sunday, Nov. 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In addition, enjoy a glass of wine from our extensive wine bar and sample handcrafted domestic and imported cheese in our Wine Down & Enjoy area. Ovations’ chef staff will be on-hand to prepare custom cheese plates with accompaniments such as assorted tapenades, hummus, assorted chutneys and a choice of homemade crostini, grilled flatbreads and gourmet crackers. A holiday-inspired lunch option will also be available.
