We’re excited to let you know that one of our favorite local authors will be at one of our favorite local bookstores for a book signing on January 29. Will Hillenbrand will be at blue manatee children’s bookstore in Oakley for a reading and signing of his new book, Snowman’s Story.
The cute new picture book tells the story of a snowman determined to overcome obstacles from a pesky rabbit and finish the story he’s reading. It’s definitely warm this week, but we’re still in the middle of winter, so it’s the perfect time to hear about the magical adventures of a friendly snowman.
If you’re not familiar with Hillenbrand, look up one of the dozens of children’s books he’s illustrated, including the popular “Big Bear” series.
This event is free, but line numbers are given with the purchase of a copy of Snowman’s Story.
