We love the Cincinnati Pops and their conductor John Morris Russell, and we love blue manatee children’s bookstore, which is why we’re so excited for the two to team up for a story time. On Friday, January 30 at 4pm, John Morris Russell will head to blue manatee for a special animal themed story time in honor of the new CD from the Pops, Carnival of the Animals.
Mr. Russell will read several animal themed stories and sign copies of the CD, which features songs such as “The Swan”, 
“Donkeys”, “Elephants”, and more. For kids who are interested in music, Mr. Russell will have his baton and will show them how to conduct an orchestra. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal to join in the carnival.
To make the story time even better, everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing to win tickets to the Lillipops Family concert the next day (Saturday, January 31), featuring the music from the CD.
