Family Friendly Cincinnati is known for our weekend round-up posts where we share all kinds of family fun going on around town on the weekends. We’ve decided to change things up a little bit and write MONTHLY posts instead! This way we can include family fun that happens during the week, because there’s so many great things going on in our community, and not just on the weekends. Reforest NKY 2015 on March 28th at Devou Park Rotary Grove in Covington ~ Registration Now Open! NKUCFC has announced its Reforest NKY 2015 site for Devou Park Rotary Grove on Saturday, March 28 from 9:30am-12:30pm. This is NKUCFC’S Annual Tree Planting Event. Reforest NKY is an annual, all-volunteer project organized by NKUCFC to restore native Kentucky woodlands. The reforestation project is responsible for planting thousands of tree seedlings on public, protected previously mowed properties in Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties. Bring your friends, family and shovels to help make a difference by planting trees in your community. The first 200 volunteers will receive a FREE T-SHIRT! Bright spring flowers, fragrant bulbs, and weeping trees will surround water features made of wood branches, platforms and geometric shapes. This novel architectural display celebrates spring and the limitless possibilities of the imagination. The designers of the Spring Show, Krohn florists Bethany Butler and Allison Maume, draw their design inspiration from key aspects of famed architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Show closes March 22, 2015.
