We love all things Cincinnati, especially the Cincinnati Reds! The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum is offering free admission to fans 12 and under on select days this summer, courtesy of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
The days are spread throughout the summer, and are on weekends and weekdays, so you should be able to get out with your crew!

Monday, August 8
There’s tons to see in the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum. Start out in the Palace of the Fans theatre for a video of the most unforgettable moments in Reds history before going to the Hall of Records. There’s tons of other memorabilia – even dating back to the 1869 Red Stockings.
There are plenty of interactive elements for the kids. Aspiring All-Stars can head into the Strike Zone exhibit and throw from a Major League-graded mount to the strike zone. Balls and strikes are called, and pitch speed is measured, so they can get a chance to feel like a real MLB pitcher. If broadcasting is more their speed, there’s the Reds are on the Radio exhibit. You’ll see a play from a re-created broadcast booth and hear how Mary and Joe called the game.
There’s even a special section for kids ages 6 and under – the Kids’ Clubhouse presented by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. There’s a downsized locker room for future Hall of Famers to get into Reds jerseys, a themed slide, and baseball crawl. Also provided by Children’s Hospital are healthy kid-friendly recipes available in the lobby of the Hall of Fame.
The best part is that these are only SOME of the permanent exhibitions on display. You won’t want to miss the 2016 exhibits Bobbleheads, Art of the Game and Stars of the Queen City in addition to interactive exhibits and displays that highlight the storied traditions of baseball in Cincinnati.
Grab your team and plan an outing to the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, and make it a day with lunch down at The Banks and time spent in Smale Riverfront Park.
