We love Graeter’s ice cream. It’s a weeknight, weekend, any time favorite, and between September 8-18 we have even more reason to get a sweet treat.
Cones for the Cure is back this month. The annual fundraiser raises money for The Cure Starts Now, a foundation dedicated to finding a “homerun” cure for all cancers, starting with pediatric brain cancer.
Each year Graeter’s locations in all over the country give away free scoops of Elena’s Blueberry Pie Ice Cream two times during the campaign. Elena’s Blueberry Pie Ice Cream is a special flavor created in honor of 6-year-old Elena Desserich, the inspiration behind The Cure Starts Now.
Guests who visit Graeter’s during Cones for the Cure will have the opportunity to donate a $1 or $5 “cone for the cure”. Graeter’s will also offer a $20 savings booklet for every donation of $5 or more to The Cure Starts Now. The free ice cream days are a secret and will be announced through social media. Be sure to like the Cones for the Cure Facebook page for the latest news about the campaign.
Back for its second year, is a fun social media photo contest where ice cream lovers can show their love for Graeter’s ice cream. Snap a picture with your favorite flavor, and share your pictures with Cones for the Cure on Facebook using #conesforthecure to win a Graeter’s Ultimate Prize Pack.
