On Sunday, October 8th, 2017, author and illustrator Dan Santat will be at Brazee Street Studios for two special events, courtesy of blue manatee children’s bookstore and Macmillan Publishing. These events support Mr. Santat’s newest book, After The Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again), which releases on October 3rd, 2017. After The Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again) is a picture book for ages 4-8, which tells the story of what happened after Humpty Dumpty had his “great fall.” This beautifully-illustrated book is a reminder to readers of all ages that life begins when you get back up.
At 12:00 on Sunday, October 8th at Brazee Street Studios, a special fused glass art story time will take place with the author. In this small group session, participants will meet the author, hear After The Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again), and create a piece of fused glass based on the book.

At 1:30 on Sunday, October 8th at Brazee Street Studios, Dan Santat will read, discuss, and sign After The Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again). Due to expected crowds, blue manatee will be issuing line numbers with pre-order of After The Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again). Customers can bring up to two books from their personal collection to have signed by the author.
Dan Santat is the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator of The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend, which received the Caldecott Medal in 2015.
