You know the holidays are here when it’s time for the opening of the US Bank Ice Rink on Fountain Square! The family-friendly destination opens today at 10am for it’s 5th season!
In addition to regular ice skating, the ice rink will host a variety of family friendly events, including regular visits from Santa every Saturday and Sunday.
The cost to skate is just $3 per person and $3 for skate rental (you can bring your own if you have them). Lockers are available to store your belongings and parking is available in the Fountain Square Garage, which exits directly on to the Square where the rink is located.
Thinking about getting something to eat while your downtown? There are a lot of family friendly restaurants and coffee shops (gotta get some hot cocoa) including Tazza Mia, Graeter’s, Servatii’s, Starbucks, Chipotle, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Palomino (love their kids meals!), Via Vite, and one of our favorites, Ingredients inside the Westin. - Christmas Eve: 10am-10pm
- Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Year’s Day: 2pm-10pm
January 2 – February 19
- Sun-Wed: noon-6pm
- Thu: noon-8pm
- Fri-Sat: noon-10pm
- Martin Luther King, Jr Day (1/17): 10am-6pm
- Valentine’s Day (2/14): 7pm-9pm
